Before Cursor and Claude Code, we built an AI code generation tool that worked in both the browser and IDE. The challenge was creating a tool that understood code context and generated useful completions and refactors.

The solution

We built a code generation tool with browser and IDE extensions that understand project context, generate code completions, suggest refactors, and explain code. The system uses LLMs with code-specific fine-tuning and context management.

The tool was used by 20,000 engineers before the current wave of AI coding tools, proving the demand for AI-assisted development.
